Bargain Book Sale, Saturday, September 17, 2011
The Friends of the Carmel Valley Library will be holding a bargain book sale fundraiser to benefit the library. Proceeds will go to buy new materials for the library and to pay for children's programs, art and music programs.The book sale will take place on Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. in the community room of the Library. It will feature bargain books (cookbooks, children's books, mysteries, fiction, etc., etc.) priced to sell at only 4 for $1.00!
Antiquarian Book Sale, Saturday, November 5, 2011
The Friends of the Carmel Valley Library are proud to present a sale of Antiquarian Books! This event will be held on November 5th, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. till 2:00 p.m in the community room of the Library. The sale will feature rare & antiquarian books, signed first editions, art books, new books and much, much more! All books will be priced separately (at far less than you would pay for a similar book elsewhere). Prices start at only $2.00! All funds raised from this special sale of extraordinary books will go to support our Carmel Valley Library. We hope to see you there!
Library Bookstore
Please continue to support The Friends of the Carmel Valley Library Bookstore which is open during regular library hours. All proceeds from the bookstore benefit the library and donations are matched by the City.

The Carmel Valley Library has its own bookstore! If you are searching for an inexpensive (prices start at 50¢) place to purchase your favorite science fiction, mystery, or general fiction book, check out the "Friendly Finds Bookstore." We carry a wide selection of titles for very reasonable prices in addition to collectible books available to the highest bidder through an ongoing monthly auction.
The main Friends of The San Diego Public Library hosts a monthly book sale. Book donations are accepted. The proceeds from sales go to support the San Diego Public Library. These sales are held at the University Heights Branch Library, Lower Level, 4193 Park Blvd., at Howard Street. These sales are held normally on the third Saturday of each month, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, contact the Friends of the San Diego Public Library at 619-542-1724.
